Not just dark skies, but dark skies with amazing transparency. These gazers of the stars are enjoying Rocky Mountain Star Stare! Help us celebrate over 25 years at RMSS 2013!! Held in June or early July, RMSS is one of this nation's premier star parties. This year's event will be held from June 5 - June 9, 2013 and on our own private land just north of Gardner, CO. 14 SAAA Monthly Meeting 06-14 18:30 – 21:30 The monthly meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. This meeting is free and open to the public.

15 Lunatics Club 06-15 18:00 Join your fellow lunatics for a night of Lunar observing at Falcone Park Star party rules apply with relaxed white light and laser pointer restrictions while the Moon is above the horizon Map to Castroville Airport Map to Dunbar Ridge

19 Astronomy in the Park 06-19 19:30 – 23:00 Join us for Astronomy in the Park on Wednesday nights beginning at sunset. Astronomy in the Park is held each Wednesday at McAllister Park, 13102 Jones Maltsberger Rd. [Map]

21 Friday Nights, Celestial Lights (UTSA Outreach) 06-21 19:30 – 22:00 Join UTSA's Physics and Astronomy Department for telescope viewing (weather permitting) of the night-time sky. The program includes an occasional short lecture on an astrophysics topic or an occasional video or bad science fiction film. Program Schedule: 3rd Friday of every month except July, August and December. Look for the group 'Friday Nights, Celestial Lights' on Facebook.
