The brightest star in the constellation Taurus. Aldebaran will be hidden by the crossing moon for skywatchers in Hawaii, the contiguous United States, Central America and the western Caribbean the evening of Saturday, March 4.

Stories in the Sky at Guadalupe River State Park
Join Ranger Craig and members of the San Antonio Astronomical Association for an evening of stargazing under the January moon.
Jupiter will be riding through the night sky along with a gibbous moon and we'll have our telescopes pointed skyward to view these and more. We'll begin with our one-act, audience-participation story of "The Peril of Andromeda" at the amphitheater located behind the Discovery Center and then head to the telescopes.
